REWAS'08: 12-15 October 2008, Cancun/Mexico - SPECIAL WORKSHOP ON E-WASTE

On Tuesday, October 14th, there will be a workshop with emphasis on e-waste management and recycling in the Latin American context organized by TMS, Empa, Relac and StEP.

 

 

Module 1: Situation and Challenges of e-waste Management in Latin America and The Caribbean

  • General overview on the e-waste situation in LAC

  • Prioritize challenges to be addressed
  • Assign leaders to create action plans for projects
  • Establish regional partnerships to support projects
  • Discuss possible coordination and funding strategies for all projects
  • Create charter summarizing outcomes from workshop and the path forward
